Project Scope?

To add "split check" feature to a restaurant payment app

However,

I noticed that the current design negatively impacted user experience

Cluttered UI impacts the readability and scalability

Confusing input options frustrates the user

Messages can be conveyed in a more helpful way

Pushing for change

Despite initial resistance from stakeholders due to scope concerns, I conducted usability testing (along with a UX Researcher’s guidance) and presented my findings in a compelling story. This approach convinced the product owner to approve a redesign, and the developers embraced the changes after seeing how it would improve the overall experience and flow.
